Firepoint no longer exists as a product you can buy. If you have landed on a page listing its plans and prices, that page has not been updated since 2024.
What happened
Lofty, the company formerly called Chime Technologies, acquired Firepoint in August 2024 and did not continue it as a separate platform. Firepoint agents were transitioned onto Lofty, with Lofty framing the acquisition as closing the chapter on Firepoint rather than running it alongside its own product.
This is a smaller shutdown than LionDesk and it got far less coverage, which is exactly why stale Firepoint pages still circulate.
Why it matters even if you never used Firepoint
Three of the recognisable names in this category have been absorbed into something else in roughly two years:
- Firepoint — bought by Lofty in August 2024 and wound down.
- LionDesk — discontinued by Lone Wolf, with the migration window closing in September 2025.
- kvCORE — renamed BoldTrail in June 2024, with BoomTown steadily folded into the same platform.
That is a consolidating market, and it has a practical consequence for anyone signing a contract now: the product you are being demoed may not be the product you are using in two years. It is a fair question to put to a salesperson directly.
Where Firepoint users ended up
By default, on Lofty. Lofty is a genuine all-in-one: IDX website, CRM, workflows and paid lead generation through Google and Facebook, plus 200+ integrations. Its weaknesses are that it publishes no pricing at all, offers no free trial, and is heavily add-on based, so the number in the demo and the number on the invoice can differ. Its most common review complaint is not slow support but support that gives incorrect answers.
What to look at if you are not sold on Lofty
It depends on which part of Firepoint you actually valued.
If it was the website and lead capture: Real Geeks or Sierra Interactive. Both publish their prices, which almost nothing else at that level does. Real Geeks is $399/mo plus a $500 setup on a 6 or 12-month term. Sierra starts at $299.95/mo for one user on a 12-month agreement, with no setup fee if you pay annually.
If it was the follow-up and accountability: Follow Up Boss at $69/user/mo, published pricing, month to month. It does not include a website and it will not send you leads.
If you want out of long contracts entirely: Wise Agent at $49/mo flat for up to five people, or IXACT Contact at $46.75/mo, both genuinely month to month.
The question worth asking every vendor now
Before you sign anything in this category, ask plainly: is this product being merged into another one, and what is the migration timeline? Given the last two years, it is not a paranoid question. Compare the platforms side by side in our comparison tool, where we flag product status alongside price.
