kvCORE Is Now BoldTrail: What Changed and What Did Not

If you are searching for kvCORE pricing, you are searching for a product name that was retired in June 2024. The platform still exists. It is called BoldTrail now.

What happened

Inside Real Estate rebranded its whole product portfolio in June 2024. kvCORE became BoldTrail, and it was not a standalone rename: several other products in the same portfolio were folded under the same brand at the same time.

  • kvCORE became BoldTrail, the core platform.
  • Brokermint became BoldTrail BackOffice. Its login still resolves to the old Brokermint domain.
  • AmpStats became BoldTrail Recruit, again with the old login domain still in place.
  • BoomTown, acquired in January 2023, is now marketed as “BoomTown is now BoldTrail”, with new buyers steered to BoldTrail demos.

What actually changed for users

Less than the branding suggests. This was a portfolio consolidation rather than a rebuild: the underlying platform, the IDX website, the CRM and the marketing automation continued. Existing kvCORE customers were not asked to migrate to a different product, because it is the same product with a different name on it.

The most visible practical change is that the review history is now split across two names. BoldTrail carries a large review base on G2 and Capterra, but a good part of it was written when the product was called kvCORE. That is worth knowing when you read the scores: they describe a longer period than the current name suggests.

What did not change: the pricing opacity

kvCORE never published prices and neither does BoldTrail. Its own blog states plainly that there is no standard pricing page with fixed monthly tiers, and that cost varies with team size, market, feature set and whether you buy direct or through a brokerage. The same blog notes the company has historically charged an onboarding fee without stating the amount.

So the practical answer to “how much does kvCORE cost in 2026” is that nobody outside a sales call knows, and any specific figure you find on a third-party blog cannot be traced to the vendor. We do not reprint those figures for that reason.

Why this matters beyond the name

This rename sits inside a broader pattern in the category. In roughly two years: kvCORE became BoldTrail, BoomTown was absorbed into it, Firepoint was bought by Lofty and shut down, LionDesk was discontinued by Lone Wolf, and Chime renamed itself Lofty.

If you are about to sign a contract, that is worth one direct question to the salesperson: is this product being merged into another one, and on what timeline? Two years ago that would have sounded paranoid. Now it is due diligence.

Should you still consider it

BoldTrail is a serious platform, and for a brokerage it is one of the strongest options available: IDX site, CRM, marketing automation, plus BackOffice and Recruit modules that nothing else on our list matches. It holds 4.5 out of 5 on G2 from 1,554 reviews, the largest review base of anything we track.

The honest caveats are the ones that have not changed with the name: no published pricing, no free trial, demo only, an undisclosed onboarding fee, and a learning curve that recurs in reviews. It is overkill for a solo agent, who will usually reach it through a brokerage rather than buying direct.
